English Billiards Training

Many English Billiards players who spend a lot of times practicing on their own would probably want to know things such as “do I play better in today’s practice than my previous practices?”, “am I improving through these practices?”.
This android app is intended to help beginners or intermediate players to answer the above questions by recording and saving their English Billiards scores for each practice frame and then provide statistics so that players will be able to know their progresses.
The purposes of this app are mainly for: 1.
Recording and saving of the practice frames’ scores and players will be able to view all the practice scores that he has played and saved; 2.
Provide statistics such as Average Frame Score; Average No.
of Breaks in each frame etc.; 3.
Monthly Average scores for all practice frames in that month 4.
Top 50 High Breaks;5.
Top 50 Best Frame scores.This app is developed base on the following criteria:- Only Android version is available;- Optimised for mobile phone with screen size of 5 to 7 inches.
- “Visit” – a “Visit” can be a number of strokes that a player executes until he fails to score, e.g.
he plays the 1st stroke and get 2 points for a cannon and then scores 3 points for in-off in his next stroke but then he fails to score in his 3rd stroke.
This will be counted as 1 Visit and he scores 5 points for this Visit.- A frame consists of 25 Visits.
When the practice frame completes 25 Visits, cumulative scores and High Breaks details will be saved as one record in the app history file.
- “High break” is denoted as the aggregate score for a particular Visit which is 30 points or more.
